Scores die as bus plunges into river

NEPALGUNJ: At least 26peoplediedand36more were injured when an overcrowded bus veered off a mountain road in Nepal. The bus plunged off the road near a village and rolled about 650ft down a slope before crashing into the Pasagad river. Villagers helped pull the bodies and the injured from the wreckage and 18 of those hurt were taken to a hospital in Nepalgunj city.
