Souvenir cider
THERE has been a documentary, a tribute concert at the SSE Hydro and oodles of newsprint devoted to what for many is the biggest achievement in Scottish footballing history. Now you can have a souvenir cider to mark the 50th anniversary of Celtic’s European Cup win in
Lisbon.
Drinks brand Magners has ordered a second run of its 1967 limited edition pack after the initial run sold out in less than a fortnight.
So far sales of the special packs, pictured, which depict the Lisbon Lions taking to the pitch before the famous clash with Inter Milan, have raised nearly £20,000 for the Celtic FC Foundation.
It is unclear how many packs were snapped up in the Rangers superstore.
