Pupil arrested for boy’s death

A TEENAGER has been arrested after a schoolboy died following a severe allergic reaction.

Detectives are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was taken ill at William Perkin High School in Greenford, London, at around 11.30am on June 28.

The teenager was taken to hospital, but died with his parents by his side on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow. Police were called when it became apparent an incident had occurred that led to the youngster coming into contact with the allergen.

A 13-year-old boy at the same school was arrested on June 28 in connection with the incident.
