Bus stop sex fiend is hunted

A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted at a bus stop in West Lothian.

The victim, in her 30s, was attacked at the stop in East Calder at about 7.40am on Monday.

The suspect is described as in his 30s, white, slim and 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins. He had short dark receding hair, distinctiv­e side burns and dark stubble.

He was wearing a highvis short-sleeved t-shirt with a dark panel on the back, high-vis trousers and trainers, and was last seen heading in the direction of Main Street, possibly into Almondell and Calderwood Country

Park.

PC Nichola McConnell, of Broxburn police station, said: “This was a very distressin­g incident.”
