The accounts show Linn’s UK turnover was £4.42m in the year to June 30, up from £4.08m in the prior 12 months. The bulk of Linn’s turnover continues to be generated by exports.
The rest of Europe accounted for £6.31m of Linn’s turnover in the year to June, with Africa, Asia and Australasia together accounting for £3.78m and the Americas contributing £2.41m of the total.
Linn noted its new product launches in the past year had centred on its “innovative new digital-to-analogue conversion technology”, Katalyst DAC Architecture. The family business flagged its investment of more than £2m in research and development during the year to June 30. It also invested £1.13m in additions to plant and machinery, boosting further its in-house manufacturing capabilities.
Linn said: “By upgrading machinery across the entire production process, Linn has brought more processes in-house, giving even greater control and ensuring the company will continue to create exciting, innovative products into the future.”
