This edition of Panorama learns more about what Bitcoin actually is, travelling to Iceland and Silicon Valley to learn more about where the currency is made and who has already become rich through it.

The scholar also examines his surprising legacy right up to the present day, revealing how his influence is still shaping people’s everyday lives.
