In some quarters, Bitcoin is being hailed as the future of money. Unlike “real” cash, it’s not backed by a government or properly regulated, but it is exchanged and held digitally by users. That initially made it an attractive proposition to some criminals, but now Bitcoin is going mainstream and is being openly marketed as an investment opportunity. This edition of Panorama learns more about what Bitcoin actually is, travelling to Iceland and Silicon Valley to learn more about where the currency is made and who has already become rich through it.

She looks at how he become the autocratic ruler of Rome, the tactics of his military campaigns, his use of spin and PR on his way to the top, and the reasons behind his assassination on the Ides of March in 44 BC. The scholar also examines his surprising legacy right up to the present day, revealing how his influence is still shaping people’s everyday lives.
