Serco signs £75m air force contract

OUTSOURCER Serco has signed a new contract worth around £75 million with the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The deal will see Serco continue to provide logistics and support services to the ADF’S Joint Logistics Command in the Middle East. Serco has already been working with the ADF in the region since 2011.

Serco’s new contract starts in January, for three years with an option for two more, and will see Serco provide services such as catering, waste disposal, facilities and ground maintenance, laundry, and welfare services mainly in the UAE.
