Two men accused of pharmacy drugs raid
TWO men have appeared in court in connection with an alleged drugs raid on a pharmacy.
Roderick Kennedy, 37, and Andrew Howarth, 39, are accused of a break-in and the theft of prescribed drugs at Boots in
Kelso, Roxburghshire, on Tuesday.
They are both charged with theft by housebreaking.
Mr Kennedy faces an additional charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The two men, who gave addresses in the Borders, made no plea during a private hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and the case was continued for further examination.
Mr Kennedy was remanded in custody and will appear in court again within eight days.
Mr Howarth was released on bail.
