George Harrison, pictured, a member of the Beatles, was banned from driving for one month and was fined £25 yesterday at Wells Street Magistrates Court, London, for driving without reasonable consideration. Mr Iain Mclean, the magistrate, said:- “In my view, the most effective way of dealing with cases of this sort, whoever the drivers may be, is by means of a short comparatively sharp disqualification.”
