Sarwar on attack

-

NEW Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar made his debut at FMQS and was quick to ask the First Minister about why it took so long for the Government to publish its legal advice in relation to the Alex Salmond investigation.

He said: “The Government keeps telling us it has nothing to hide, but when Parliament twice demanded that [it] be published, it refused. When it was released, it was partial and just hours before the First Minister’s committee appearance.”

He asked if Nicola Sturgeon would “give the people of Scotland a cast-iron guarantee the Government will release the report [on whether ministerial code had been breached] without delay on the day it is handed over”.
