The strike of railwaymen and transport workers in support of the miners was cancelled yesterday afternoon by the Executives concerned.yesterday morning, the Prime Minister invited the Miners’ Executive to a meeting at the Board of Trade to discuss a temporary adjustment of wages, which it refused. This intimation was conveyed to the railwaymen and transport workers, who, after considering it, called off the strike.
