Sign of the times in Queen Street
THE finishing touches are put to Miller’s Drawing Materials Ltd’s new store in Glasgow’s Queen Street, in
May 1971. Miller’s of Trongate had remained in the same family since 1834, and on the same Argyle Street site for some 135 years – its first few years were in the Gallowgate.
