Iolo’s Anglesey BBC2, 7pm

Iolo Williams explores more of Wales’s largest island, renowned for its coastal beauty and the spectacula­r wildlife that can be found in its sand dunes, rocky cliffs and surroundin­g farmland. He finds colourful dayflying moths, beautiful orchids and brown hares, before heading out to the Skerries Islands, three kilometres offshore from Carmel Head, and visiting Wales’s only Arctic tern colony. Along the way, he also encounters a fox and comes across a small owl with its chick on an abandoned farm near Holyhead.

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer kick off a brand-new series on the Kent coast. Phil’s with Ellen, who is moving out from her mum and dad’s in Hertfordsh­ire and wants to live amid Margate’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community. In the hope of family harmony, Phil finds Ellen two and even three-bedroom homes, each of which has its charms. But when it comes to making an offer, it’s clear that nothing is going to be straightfo­rward. Meanwhile, Kirstie’s with Sophie, Matt and baby Tate, who need to get out of Sophie’s mum’s and find their own home in Broadstair­s. Grand Designs: House of the Year Channel 4, 9pm Kevin Mccloud returns for another nationwide journey to explore the spectacula­r homes in the running for the 2022 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) House of the Year award. Each week, Kevin will be joined by architect Damion Burrows, design expert Michelle Ogundehin and conservati­on architect Natasha Huq, as they reveal the shortlist before announcing the winner of the prestigiou­s prize. Tonight, they visit a playful pink beach house built to withstand fierce winds and sandstorms on the south coast. Plus, there’s a renovation of a 1960s home in Derbyshire, an extreme DIY ecohome in Stirlingsh­ire, a reimaginin­g of a redbrick house in Dorset, and a London new-build that hurdled challenge after challenge. Two Doors Down BBC2, 10pm Last week we saw poor Colin turn to his neighbours for support after being unceremoni­ously dumped by Cathy. However, things are already looking up for the new singleton tonight – he is feeling chipper after a successful internet date, and cannot wait to tell his friends all about it. Meanwhile, Michelle is off out so Beth and Eric are looking after Alan, who is laid up on the sofa in a surgical boot and struggling to fend for himself after an accident. But it’s not long before they lose their patience with the patient.
