In the final edition of this year’s series, the team visit five houses demonstrating exceptional use of materials and craftsmanship, all vying for a place on the shortlist. There’s a gloriously precise, meticulously crafted barn conversion in East Anglia; a beautiful, minimal hymn to brick in Northern Ireland; a small but exquisitely honed eco terrace in London; a timber-framed, timber-clad eco home in the Fens; and a Norwich extension that proves even the humblest, most affordable materials can, through careful craftsmanship, be made to shine.
I’m An Alcoholic: Inside Recovery BBC2, 9pm
Rooted in the evangelical Christianity of 1930s America, Alcoholics Anonymous is longest-running addiction programme in the world. The international mutual aid fellowship has also has been operating in the UK for 75 years and has approximately 25,500 members in this country. But why does it still work for so many and how do members with no faith at all interpret the programme now? At a time when problem drinking is on the increase, this programme has been granted access inside an AA meeting in central England. Thanks to technology which substitutes their faces with those of actors, the members can share their stories while protecting their identities.
Dodi: Last Days of a Playboy Channel 5, 9pm
Dodi Fayed has been in the news bit recently, thanks to his appearance in the fifth season of The Crown. But who was the man, portrayed by Khalid Abdalla in the Netflix drama? This documentary looks at the “playboy” son of Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al-fayed, who died alongside Princess Diana in a car accident in Paris in 1997. With unprecedented access to his former girlfriends, closest friends, business partners and inner circle, the film charts Dodi’s life from his early days as a child caught up in his parents’ separation, through a stint at Sandhurst, and a career in Hollywood, to his final weeks in France.

The 25th anniversary edition of the UK’S biggest and most prestigious celebration of black music takes place at Wembley Arena. London rapper and producer Knucks leads this year’s list with five nominations, including Album of The Year for Alpha Place, Best Male Act, Best Hip Hop Act, and two Video of The Year.
