Robin Williams: A Life in Ten Pictures BBC2, 9pm

On August 11, 2014, the world lost one of its greatest stand–up comics and one of Hollywood’s most recognisable actors when Robin Williams died, aged 63. Being the award–winning star of Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King and Good Will Hunting, Williams’ image was and still is famous around the world. But this programme selects 10, some iconic shots, some private snaps, and uses them to tell the story of the actor, who delighted audiences around the world, but whose own private life was complicated and tragic. We meet those who were there and who knew him best, including Mork and Mindy co-star Pam Dawber and his first wife Valerie Velardi

The Apprentice BBC1, 9pm

We all know Lord Sugar is partial to the odd cheesy line in the boardroom, and now for the 10th task of this year’s series, the tycoon is challenging the candidates to create and brand a new vegan alternative to cheese before pitching to industry experts. In the kitchen, one team’s curry creation causes havoc, while on the other team, a premium product fails to deliver. The candidates responsible for the branding bicker, and back in the boardroom, the big cheese himself sends one candidate packing.

Taskmaster Channel 4, 9pm

Greg Davies is a hard man to please, and it’s usually quite difficult getting points out of him, as the group of comedians completes another series of tasks. However, the stern Taskmaster is clearly impressed tonight as he looks for a way to reward Nick Mohammed after he puts a sock on a water bottle, Joanne Mcnally who ties a noose for a soft toy, and Steve Pemberton as he repeatedly express a hankering for pancakes. Meanwhile, Little Alex Horne jots down all the facts and figures as John Robins puts his faith in honey and Sophie Willan attempts to take flight.

Big Mood Channel 4, 10pm

Maggie throws her first ever dinner party to prove to her new therapist (Sally Phillips) and her agent (Rebecca Lowman) that she’s mentally stable. However, things don’t exactly go to plan. Meanwhile, Eddie (Lydia West) revisits an old flame who she thinks might solve all her problems. Then, in tonight’s second episode, Maggie is worried about Eddie committing to her controlling boyfriend, so she drags her to the woods for a pagan festival as a distraction. But, again, events spiral out of control, and the fate of Eddie’s bar is left hanging in the balance.
