Andi Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts BBC2, 8pm

For her latest feast, Andi Oliver is in the home of the UK ceramics, Stoke–on–trent, where local artists Anna and Rebecca run a community project that aims to breathe new creative life into a deprived neighbourhood. Andi wants to organise an arts festival to celebrate their achievements – and of course, there will be food involved. As well as sourcing the best local produce and culinary talents, Andi is also planning to add a dash of Northern Soul to the proceedings, while facing some of her own artistic demons.

Professor T STV, 9pm

The good news for the Professor (Ben Miller) is that he’s now out of prison, but just how easy will it be for him to go back to his normal life? He’s certainly keen to return to his work at the university – and with the police. At least the cops seem keen to have him back in the fold as they turn to him for help with investigating a series of unexplained deaths. Can he work out what is going before anyone else dies? And will the university also be prepared to welcome him with open arms?

Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue Channel 4, 9pm

Stacey is in Devon to meet Jo and Darryl whose seaside dream home has turned out to a nightmare – they spent £127,000 on building work which was subsequently condemned by inspectors, forcing them to start again. Now, three years into the project, they have just £30,000 left to realise their vision, and Stacey is here to show them how to make their cash stretch further by doing some of the work themselves. She also continues with her own project, which involves creating a gym and fishing–storage area at Pickle Cottage.

Mammoth BBC2, 10pm

Mike Bubbins heads the cast of this new sitcom, which has shades of Life on Mars (and maybe the first Austin Powers film). He plays PE teacher Tony Mammoth, who in 1979 was living the bachelor lifestyle, until he was caught up in an avalanche on a school ski trip. It was assumed he’d died, but then in 2024, Mammoth is miraculously found frozen and brought back to life as a perfectly preserved middle–aged man. (Probably best not to ask too many questions about that bit.) He’s expecting that his old life will still be waiting for him – same job, car, friends, but it turns out that while he may not have changed much since 1979, the rest of the world has. And then there’s Mel (Sian Gibson), the mother of one of his pupils, who takes an instant dislike to him.
