Cowdenbeat­h v Queen of the South

The home side need victory to have a chance of avoiding the relegation play-offs and they are in high spirits following back-to-back wins that have seen them score six goals. They face a Queens team who are already qualified for the promotion play-offs, barring a huge turnaround in goal difference with Dumbarton. Dundee v Dumbarton

A sell-out crowd at Dens Park will expect their side to reclaim their place in the top flight at the first time of asking though they can take nothing for granted against a Dumbarton team who have been a revelation even if their quest for a play-off place is doomed. Dundee are without Iain Davidson but Kyle Benedictus could deputise after recovering from injury while Adam Cummins is also in contention. Dumbarton, who probably need more than 10 goals to stand a chance of making the play-offs, are aiming to win against the only side they are yet to beat this season. They are at full strength. Falkirk v Alloa Athletic

Falkirk must win and hope both Hamilton and Dundee lose to come from behind and clinch the title and, while that is an unlikely scenario, there have already been plenty tales of the unexpected during an enthrallin­g campaign. Their task is made no easier by the fact that Alloa must win to be sure of securing their Championsh­ip status.
