Evan Oliphant will be looking to build on his solid early season form when he lines up for Sunday’s Wiltshire Grand Prix near Salisbury, writes Colin Renton. Oliphant goes into the 101mile event occupying eighth place in the British Cycling Elite Road Series, of which this is the second round. The Team Raleigh rider was 10th overall in the previous race, the two-day Tour of the Reservoir in Northumber­land, where he won the second stage. He is joined in the 120-strong field by the current Scottish road race champion Gary Hand (KTM Road and Trail).
