KRISTOFFER Ajer admits he felt like a movie star in Glasgow after completing his move to Celtic on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old midfielder jetted in from Norway to sign a four-year deal with Ronny Deila’s side.

Ajer will link up with the reigning Scottish champions in June after playing the first four months of the Tippeligaen with current club IK Start.

The teenager admits he was taken aback by the level of interest in him during his whirlwind trip to Scotland.

Ajer, who rejoined his Start teammates on their La Manga pre-season training camp on Thursday, said: “Football means everything in Scotland. There were people who wanted to take pictures in the street. It was like being in a movie for a few days there.

“Now I’m back with Start and I’ll have my feet firmly on the ground. I’m not a Celtic player until June 10 and I’m thinking only of Start.”
