He’s made his list and checking it twice, so time is running out to show if you’ve been naughty or nice. Here’s our top spots to see Santa Claus.

THE FALKIRK WHEEL December 14-15 and 20-24

Embark on a magical boat trip to Santa’s floating grotto with the man himself on board to hand out early presents.

The activity zone at the Falkirk Wheel will feature a host of activities including face painting, cookie decorating and cuddly animals.

SNOW FACTOR, BRAEHEAD Until December 24

With lots of real, fluffy snow to help Santa acclimatis­e as he arrives from the North Pole, it’s a perfect spot to

enjoy some festive cheer.

Snow Factor will be hosting a Christmas breakfast, lunch and supper dining experience which includes a gift, photograph, child’s meal and 30 minutes of sledging on the indoor slopes.

BLAIR CASTLE, ATHOLL ESTATES NEAR PITLOCHRY, PERTHSHIRE

December 14-15 and 21-22

A bagpipe playing Santa will keep youngsters entertaine­d with yuletide jingles as they visit his grotto in the oldest part of Blair Castle. It costs £6 per child.

There will be a three-course Christmas Sunday lunch available on December 15 and 22, for £22.50.

The historic Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed Hill

House will open its doors for two weekends of fun including a children’s craft workshop, Santa’s Grotto and plenty of live music.
