The UK’s first Radis­son RED ho­tel has opened in Glas­gow. The Tun­nel Street ho­tel’s Oui Bar and Ktchn’s menu has burg­ers, sal­ads, soups, sand­wiches, tarts, steaks or a half roast chicken and chips. There are ve­gan op­tions.

The Rook­ery Bar and Res­tau­rant has opened in Carnoustie. Spe­cial­is­ing in Scot­tish in­gre­di­ents and dishes, it is part of a new build­ing, Links House, on Links Pa­rade with mag­nif­i­cent views over the golf cour­ses and the sea. The menu was cre­ated by the award-win­ning chef Roy Brett and the menu is packed with Ar­broath smok­ies, East Neuk chow­der, An­gus beef, east coast lob­ster, Dundee cake and more.
