McCarthy & Stone Over 60s can make a move for free
MCCARTHY and Stone is helping Scottish retirees to realise the benefits of downsizing to one of its beautiful coastal developments at Tantallon Court in North Berwick or Beacon Court in Anstruther, with the introduction of its Move For Free offer. Available for a limited period, buyers at these Retirement Living developments on their respective beautiful coastlines stand to save up to £12,000 on their move.
The incentive will see buyers save on Land & Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT), estate agency costs, legal fees and removal costs, if they reserve a new apartment at Tantallon Court or Beacon Court before June 28 and complete by August 24.
The scheme aims to encourage those retirees who have always dreamt of moving to consider downsizing to a contemporary retirement apartment.
Such homes are specially designed for those over 60. As such, Move For Free gives even more older people the opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle benefits of a low maintenance Retirement Living property, which includes more free time to spend with friends and family.
Lorraine Paterson, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy and Stone in Scotland, explained: “We are pleased to be offering Move For Free at Tantallon Court and Beacon Court, as it has been proven to alleviate some of the financial barriers preventing retirees from moving.
“It also encourages retirees who are perhaps thinking about their future needs to consider the different housing options and lifestyle benefits available to them.
“A move to a McCarthy and Stone development such as Tantallon Court or Beacon Court can be the key to an active and independent retirement; with reduced property maintenance, comfort and security, and all the benefits of being part of community of like-minded people among the many advantages of Retirement Living.”
Beacon Court and Tantallon Court are both perfectly positioned to take advantage of their picturesque coastal locations for potential retirees looking for the ideal place to make their next move.
Retirees considering a move can also “Experience The Lifestyle” and spend up to two complimentary nights in a fully furnished apartment at either development, and enjoy a continental breakfast with refreshments while they are there.
Facilities at both developments do vary but each one does include a homeowners’ lounge ideal for socialising with friends, beautifully landscaped gardens in which to relax and a convenient guest suite for those times when homeowners have friends or relatives wishing to stay.
All developments benefit from a House Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the development, car parking, a security entrance system, plus 24-hour emergency call points – for added peace of mind for both homeowners and their families.
