TVR Griffith stars at London Motor Show
THE TVR Griffith makes its debut today as it takes to the stage at the London Motor Show. TVR’s all new sports car will be joined by several of the brand’s heritage models, as part of the ‘Built in Britain’ display.
Visitors to the show will be able to see the new Griffith close up, as the new model makes its first major public outing since its launch at the Goodwood Revival in September last year. Throughout the event, members of TVR’s team will be on hand to talk to interested visitors about the new Griffith in detail.
Les Edgar, Chairman of TVR, said: “In the design of the new Griffith, we’ve worked hard to ensure it is as usable in urban traffic as it is thrilling on a country B-road, so we’re delighted to show it in detail. TVR is a brand with exceptional heritage as a British manufacturer, and we are committed to producing the new Griffith in Ebbw Vale, Wales, so it is fitting that it should feature in the Built in Britain display.”
The new Griffith certainly embodies TVR’s long-standing ethos of the Spirit of Driving, using intelligent engineering rather than electronic driver aids. Its naturally-aspirated 5.0-litre Cosworthenhanced V8, coupled with lightweight composite iStream architecture, delivers 400bhp/tonne performance.
Ensuring it’s well-suited for everyday use, the new interior packaging offers new levels of interior comfort and practicality. As well as ample cabin and luggage space, it features a bespoke driver-focused instrument cluster and infotainment system.
It will be presented in Launch Edition spec, with prices starting from £90,000.
