Raise a glass to the stars with top celebrity wines
Kylie Signature Rosé, which was released on her birthday in May last year, won the People’s Choice Wine Awards for vegan wine and her new Australian Margaret River Chardonnay won gold in a blind tasting at the Drinks Masters Awards and gold from the People’s Choice Wine Awards. Sarah Jessica Parker, Graham Norton and Ian Botham have also won many accolades with their wines. As well as wine, gin from Botham and Norton is available on the Wine Delivered site.
St Clair said the growing trend for celebrity wines was because people trusted them to put their names to a quality product. “They are very involved,” she said. “Kylie is extremely involved in every aspect and so are the others. They are not going to put their names to something they don’t like, so it inspires confidence when you are buying.
“Most people in the UK have never been to a vineyard
or a winery so if they are unsure what to buy it helps if there is a celebrity they like and respect who has put their name to something. They will trust them to produce a good wine and not let them down.”
Wine Delivered regularly features offers on the site and customers can choose to buy anything from just one bottle to multiple cases. Cards, flowers and hampers are also available, making it a one stop shop for those looking to buy a gift.
Minogue’s Spanish cava, for example, is available in an exclusive gift box and there are Kyle Minogue wine glasses in a bespoke box, a Kylie Minogue bespoke ice bucket and a Kylie Minogue bespoke corkscrew. Cricket enthusiasts can choose from a Botham Series Premium Red Wine hamper or there is his gin and tonic luxury hamper. A selection of other hampers are also available, including ones with Graham Norton products.
