Not only is Banff the highest town in Canada, perched 4500ft above sea-level in the Rocky Mountains, but there are also next to no options to get there by public transport - and the team who arrive last will be eliminated. With a 25-hour lead, Trisha and Cathie think they have enough time on their side to forego blowing their budget on a hire car and instead using the cheaper but less reliable option of a car share. Will their lead evaporate when they find themselves ghosted by a fellow traveller? Meanwhile, Monique suffers an injury that delays her and dad Ladi, while Marc realises he needs to face his fears if he’s to stay in the race.

The Cockfields (BBC2, 10pm)

It took a while to migrate from Gold to BBC2, but The Cockfields was worth the wait - it’s only a shame that the first series was just threeepisodes long.
