GLASGOW RESTAURANT WEEK

The inaugural Glasgow Food & Drink Month runs until April 18th, and Glasgow Cocktail Week runs from April 19-28. The event offers diners discounts across the city with set price menus at £10, £15, £25 or a tasting menu. The week kicks off with a special event at Mamasan featuring head chef, Finn Steel-Perkins and Great British Menu star, Ali Borer but will also feature in more than 50 venues from all over the city. These include Eusebi Deli, below, Celentano’s, Café Andaluz, Ka Pao, Van Winkle, West Side Tavern and Ubiquitous Chip to name a few.

This year’s spring and summer menu offers a vibrant exploratio­n of tastes, textures, and aromas for a modern Chinese dining experience. Each dish captures the essence of the season, blending fresh, vibrant ingredient­s with a twist.

SIX BY NICO, GLASGOW AND EDINBURGH

The New York City food scene is one of the best in the world. Chef Nico Simeone and his team’s most recent visit served as inspiratio­n for their new menu. The New York six-course menu will be available at their restaurant­s across the UK and Ireland for six weeks until May 19, priced at £42 per person.

CARDINAL, EDINBURGH

The brainchild of culinary maestro Tomás Gormley, Cardinal is his first solo venture since splitting with his former business partner, Sam Yorke. It offers a 13-course tasting extravagan­za in the evenings and a lunch menu on Friday’s and Saturday’s and is priced at £110 per person with an additional £85 for expertly paired drinks.
