Nether Abbey Ho­tel Beer Fes­ti­val Nov 2 to Nov 4, North Ber­wick

Lovers of real ale, cider, good food and live mu­sic have much to get ex­cited about this com­ing week­end as the Nether Abbey Beer Fes­ti­val re­turns to the Nether Abbey Ho­tel, North Ber­wick for three days of mer­ri­ment and free en­try from Novem­ber 2 to Novem­ber 4.

Fes­ti­val-go­ers will be able to sam­ple dozens of real ales and ciders from around the UK, in­clud­ing se­lec­tions from James Dempsey’s Eye­ball Brew­ing and Peter Stu­art’s Thistly Cross Cider.

There’s live en­ter­tain­ment too from pop, funk and disco cov­ers band The Guilty Plea­sures, lo­cal mu­si­cian and racon­teur An­drew Brown and High­land mu­si­cian Davy Holt, who per­forms on both Satur­day and Sun­day.

Stir­ling Ste­wart, owner of the Nether Abbey Ho­tel, said; “We are re­ally ex­cited about the 2018 Beer Fes­ti­val, which has some­thing for ev­ery­one. Real ale and cider lovers have a choice of 40 real ales from Orkney to Os­sett, Der­went and Devon, in­clud­ing a rare mild, English best ales, a com­plex US style beer, malty milds, real ciders, and gluten free pale ales.”

Through­out the fes­ti­val there will be a raf­fle in aid of Leuchie House, a char­ity pro­vid­ing car­ing respite breaks for peo­ple with long-term con­di­tions and their fam­i­lies.
