Lovers of real ale, cider, good food and live music have much to get excited about this coming weekend as the Nether Abbey Beer Festival returns to the Nether Abbey Hotel, North Berwick for three days of merriment and free entry from November 2 to November 4.
Festival-goers will be able to sample dozens of real ales and ciders from around the UK, including selections from James Dempsey’s Eyeball Brewing and Peter Stuart’s Thistly Cross Cider.
There’s live entertainment too from pop, funk and disco covers band The Guilty Pleasures, local musician and raconteur Andrew Brown and Highland musician Davy Holt, who performs on both Saturday and Sunday.
Stirling Stewart, owner of the Nether Abbey Hotel, said; “We are really excited about the 2018 Beer Festival, which has something for everyone. Real ale and cider lovers have a choice of 40 real ales from Orkney to Ossett, Derwent and Devon, including a rare mild, English best ales, a complex US style beer, malty milds, real ciders, and gluten free pale ales.”
Throughout the festival there will be a raffle in aid of Leuchie House, a charity providing caring respite breaks for people with long-term conditions and their families.
