Stace named Strictly champ

STACEY Dooley has been crowned champion in the Strictly Come Dancing final.

Her dance partner Kevin Clifton yelled “It’s a Christmas miracle” as bookies’ favourite Stacey, 31, took the crown in the glittering live TV show last night.

The couple had been bottom of the leaderboard before their final dance – Paso to Malaguena scored 39 out of 40 – and the public vote swept them to victory.

Head judge Shirley Ballas described their final dance as “a perfect finale”.

The winning couple took to the floor after the result was declared and danced to Tina Turner’s Simply the Best.
