GLASGOW Rocks coach Darryl Wood insists he won’t stop tinkering with his line-up unless he finds a magic formula.

The Scots will bid to climb out of the BBL’s bottom three by beating Manchester Giants for the second time in nine days today. And with American guard Kenny Carpenter primed to start, and Scottish star Kieron Achara back in favour, the changes will continue, Wood said.

“I don’t really believe there has to be a fixed line-up. Against certain teams, Kieron and Ali Fraser might not play so much together. At other times, I might give someone a start for motivation or as a reward or confidence boost,” he said. “But the main thing is the five who finish the game is pretty settled because that’s what matters.”

In the WBBL, Caledonia Pride visit unbeaten Sevenoaks Suns.

Paterson and his team scraped into the quarter-finals but they produced a stunning display against the Swede. Despite trailing early on, Paterson nudged ahead 4-3 and landed a killer blow at the penultimate end when he counted three stones to lead 7-4. There was no way back for Edin, and Paterson will now face Ontario veteran Glenn Howard in the last four.

Mouat joined them in the semis after defeating local hero Brad Gushue 7-5 for the second time in less than 24 hours. He plays Calgary’s Kevin Koe next.
