SCOTTISH No 1 Lisa Aitken edged closer to her fourth PSA title after storming through to today’s Italian International final in Riccione.

The 28-year-old left-hander made a blistering start against Dutch fourth seed Tessa ter Sluis. Aitken to lead 8-1 before completing an emphatic 11-4, 11-8, 11-9 victory. She will now face Switzerland’s Cindy Merlo.
