Sir Billy apologises

BILLY Connolly has apologised for “depressing” his fans after he said his life was “slipping away” in an emotional documentary on the BBC this week. The comedian, 76, addressed the programme in a video shared on Twitter. Strumming on his banjo, Billy sang: “Not dying, not dead, not slipping away. Sorry if I depressed you. Maybe I should have phrased it better.”
