Man dies in house fire

A man has died in a house blaze in Dunblane.

Emergency services were called to the property on Perth Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four trucks to extinguish the flames, and the crews left at around 7.40am.

Police confirmed a 57-year-old man was found dead at the scene and that the circumstances were not thought to be suspicious.
