Corbyn hits out at Tories
Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn branded the Chancellor’s borrowingfunded plans to cut taxes “irresponsible”.
He told Nick Robinson’s Political Thinking podcast the Government was borrowing billions to “pay for day-to-day expenditure because they’ve just cut their own income level”.
He also described plans for Labour delegates to sing God Save the King at the conference as “very odd”.
