Dunfermlin­e salvage point after falling behind at home to Clyde

LEAGUE leaders Dunfermlin­e came from two goals down to take a point in a 2-2 draw against Clyde at East End Park.

Jordan Allan opened the scoring and he grabbed his second 10 minutes later – only for the Bully Wee to unravel in the second half, conceding a two penalties that Kyle Benedictus fired past Neil Parry to grab a valuable point for the Pars' promotion push.

Falkirk moved up to second and within five points of the table-toppers with a 2-0 victory over FC Edinburgh. Ola Lawal fired the opener into the bottom-right corner after 53 minutes and Leon McCann sealed the win six minutes from time.

Montrose kept pace at the top with a thrilling 3-1 win at Kelty Hearts. Rory McAllister gave the visitors an early lead, scoring from six yards after two minutes before Jamie Barjonas levelled early in the second half, firing into the bottom corner from distance.

The game looked to be heading for a draw until Liam Callaghan's pinpoint cross found Graham Webster at the back post and he tapped in to make it 2-1, and Craig Johnston scored a third in added time.

Airdrie and bottom-club Peterhead shared the spoils at

Excelsior Stadium after Lewis Jamieson cancelled out Jason Brown's first-half opener three minutes from time.

Kieran Offord netted a brace in Alloa's emphatic 5-1 win over Queen of the South, who took an early lead through Gavin Reilly. Ross MacIver levelled shortly before halftime and the hosts came out firing after the restart as Daniel Church, George Stanger and Offord rounded off the win.
