THIS exciting night of layered contemporary and Louisiana music promises to combine thought-provoking spoken word in a straight-from-the-bayou cabaret extravaganza of words and melody. The Jennifer Ewan Band will be showcasing what it calls “bonnie bayou,” by combining heartfelt Scottish songs with Cajun honky tonk.
