Death fall woman’s family appeal to witnesses

-

THE family of a Scots woman who died following a hen party in Spain appealed for two potential witnesses to come forward last night after receiving new information.

Kirsty Maxwell, from Livingston in West Lothian, died on April 29 last year in Benidorm after falling from the 10th floor of Apartmentos Payma hotel. Now the family has called for two potential witnesses to come forward after finding new information while looking for answers about the 27-year-old’s death.

They are described as an Englishspeaking man who was staying at a nearby hotel and a customer at a cafe who said they saw a woman either climbing or falling from a balcony.

A statement said: “As a result of inquiries we have new information about an English-speaking man who saw Kirsty’s body at the pool before the police attended. He was staying on the 9th floor of Hotel Presidente and was checking out that morning.”
