Poetry winners are revealed
THREE poets share the first prize in the 2018
James Mccash Scots Poetry Competition. This high-prestige event in Scotland’s literary calendar is run jointly by The Herald and Glasgow University.
Ann Mackinnon with “Postcairds Fae Muck”, Robert Hume with “Fairm Road” and Catherine Eunson with her simply titled “A 87”, each receive £500 prize money. A further five highly commended entrants – Sheila Templeton, Jim Carruth, William Hershaw, Jim Waite, and George T Watt – receive £300 each.
