Teenager’s body found

A BODY has been recovered in the search for a Highland teenager missing for 11 days.

Jade Mcgrath, 19, was last seen in the Leachkin area of Inverness at around 2pm on November 28.

Police Scotland confirmed last night that they recovered a body from Lawers Way, Inverness, at about 3pm yesterday.

“The family of Jade Mcgrath have been informed at this time. Formal identification is still to take place,” said a police spokesman.

Police officers have been speaking to motorists and pedestrians in the area where Jade was last seen on Leachkin Road.

Specialist searches had also been ongoing around the area.
