Group attacks three friends

POLICE are hunting a group of people who assaulted three young men on a night out in Glasgow.

The trio became involved in an altercation with a group of five men in Holland Street at around 3.20am on Friday.

One of the victims, a 20-year-old man, was seriously assaulted and suffered a facial injury.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and has since been released.

The other two men, aged 21 and 22, managed to get away from the attackers.

Police said they want to speak to a group of potential witnesses standing singing at the junction of Holland Street and Sauchiehall Street at around the time of the attack.
