20 million reasons to smile

THESE two women are sending a powerful message to mark a cash-raising milestone. Since 2012, Scottishpower has raised £20 million for Cancer Research UK and to celebrate the event the long-standing partner of the charity has created a campaign, called 20 Reasons To Smile.

Deborah James, host of the BBC podcast You, Me And The Big C, visited Aimee Ferrier, one of the illustrators at Edinburgh College, to share her reasons to smile.

Ms James, pictured left, who has bowel cancer, is supporting the campaign and is working to spread the word about the charity’s efforts and inspire others with her story.
