Cost of living crisis
Exacerbated by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, Britain is set to be hit by a cost of living crisis of generational magnitude. Georgina Bailey tours the country to ask MPs in areas from Hackney to Kilmarnock about the different ways in which their constituents will be affected. John Johnston interviews former Chancellor Lord Lamont, who gives advice on how the government can handle the crisis. And we hear from Baroness Boycott, who says we must reverse welfare cuts and simplify the benefits system as the crisis bites.
