Nominations open for Women in Westminster: The 100
Nominations have opened for the fourth year of Women in Westminster: The 100, an annual event to honour the top 100 most influential women working in Westminster.
The celebration of women in public life will highlight the work of leading women in politics, public services and public affairs, from parliamentarians and journalists to civil servants, think-tankers and activists, and is organised by The House’s parent company, Dods.
The project is supported by Lloyds Banking Group, and has a board of patrons including Baroness Jenkin, MP Caroline Nokes, journalists Laura Kuenssberg and Anne
Alexander, public affairs expert Emily Wallace and House editor Rosa Prince.
Jenkin said: “With a third female prime minister, the UK is continuing to make strides, but it’s important that we continue to celebrate the work of women in Westminster, both in front line politics and behind the scenes.
“Nominations are once again open to the public this year and I am looking forward to hearing about the women at the heart of Westminster who have inspired you.”
The list of 100 women will be published on 8 March 2023, to mark International Women’s Day. Nominations are now open at womeninwestminster.co.uk.
