Speaker hosts reception of thanks for Coronation Street and Emmerdale crew

Stars of Coronation Street and Emmerdale have attended a reception in Parliament to celebrate decades of continuing drama from the north of England.

William Roache and Lisa Riley, who play Ken Barlow and Mandy Dingle respectively, were invited to meet Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle on 23 November, along with other cast and crew from both soaps.
