The year might be young but the beauty industry’s biggest brands are already launching some seriously impressive new products that we just can’t wait to get our hands on.

So, whether you’re looking to update your make-up stash, skincare routine or just fancy treating yourself take note, because we’ve rounded up the most lust-worthy beauty drops happening right now. Benefit, Bad Gal Bang! Mascara, £21.50, Cult Beauty

The latest reincarnation of Benefit’s Bad Gal mascara is so futuristic that it’s even made using “space technology” to create a lighter-than-air formula that lifts your lashes and stays in place for an impressive 36 hours. Designed with a thin, spiky comb, the super-black pigment coats even the finest of lashes evenly and is smudge-proof and water-resistant.

Hourglass, Arch Brow Shaping Gel, £22, Space NK

The key to bushy, Cara Delevingne-esque brows is a good brow product and they don’t get much better than Hourglass’s new Arch Brow Shaping Gel. An invisible formula that evenly coats hairs from root to tip for long-lasting hold, the dual-sided brush helps to distribute the product, shaping your brows and keeping them in place without any smudging or flaking.

Mac, Jeremy Scott Future Emotions Lip Palette, £36, Selfridges

One of the most highly-anticipated beauty collaborations of the year, Mac Cosmetics has joined forces with Moschino designer Jeremy Scott on a collection of Eighties-inspired products. Our favourite has to be the Future Emotions Lip Palette which includes nine kaleidoscopic shades, from warm nudes and deep reds to bright purple and orange. We especially love the portable and super-cool one-of-a-kind cassette case.

Touche Eclat Colour Correcting Blur Primer, £30, YSL

A primer is a must-have if you want to make sure your make-up doesn’t slide off your face by 4pm, but while we’re used to seeing a range of different formulas YSL’s latest launch is like nothing we’ve seen before.

Available in three different shades each illuminating primer serves to blur and colour-correct your complexion. Orange will help those with medium to dark skin tones fight dullness while those with fair complexions should opt for pink, and blue will combat sallowness on all skin tones.

Glow Job, Radiance-Boosting Glitter Face Mask, £42, Too Faced

If your skin is need of a little TLC then look no further because this new face mask from Too Faced ticks all the boxes.

Designed with real gold, the radiance-boosting peel-off glitter mask includes paradise-apple fruit extract to help promote a luminous glow as well as brightening oils. To use, apply liberally to the face and allow to set for 30 minutes before peeling off. Wipe away any excess.
