Despite the seeming resurgence of the Beast from the East, we’re slowly but surely heading for warmer days, and among other things it’s time for a serious spring clean.

While for some that might mean serious housework or embracing new beginnings job wise, for beauty buffs it’s all about revamping the make-up bag. Which is exactly why we’ve assembled the most lustworthy beauty drops happening this month, so you can add them to your shopping basket ASAP.

Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette, £26, Urban Decay

The baby sister of Urban Decay’s Naked Heat palette, this mini version contains six brand-new matte shades: Inhale (cream demi-matte), Vibrate (a soft nude), Hot Spell (terracotta), Wild Thing (scorched orange), Heist (rich cayenne) and Strike (rich reddish brown).

The ultra-compact packaging makes it perfect for travel and it even comes with a mirror for on-the-go touch ups. Naked Petite Heat palette will be available from 22 March at urbandecay.co.uk and in stores nationwide.

Hollywood Flawless Filter, £30, Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury is well known for products that give you that goddess glow but the make-up maven has really pulled out all the stops with her latest offering.

A product that offers the benefits of a foundation and highlighter all at once, the Hollywood Flawless Filter instantly illuminates your skin to give you a radiant complexion while making lines and pores appear smoother. Available in seven different shades, this is a must-have product if you’re a fan of superstar, litfrom-within skin.

Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge, £22, Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown’s Pretty Powerful campaign has been around for six years now, and to celebrate International Women’s Day the company releases a limited edition take on its much-loved Pot Rouge every year, with the full RRP minus VAT going to charity.

This time round, BB’s charity of choice is Smart Works, an organisation that provides smart clothing, styling advice and interview training to women who’ve found themselves out of work. As for the product itself, you get two for the price of one. Blend it on the apples of your cheeks for a just-pinched look, or blot it on your lips for a soft, stained finish.

Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask, £44, Kiehl’s

A face mask is just what your skin is calling for at this time of year, and this one from Kiehl’s promises to give it everything it needs. Formulated with thai ginger leaf, it’s super-hydrating and even helps to soften the appearance of fine lines, while Hibiscus revitalises the complexion leaving it feeling firmer and smoother.

Massage onto clean skin at night with an upward motion and feel the formula begin to work instantly. Leave on overnight. In the morning, cleanse skin to remove the mask. Recommended for use up to five times a week.
