Russia accused of missile strike on Nato country
Explosion in Poland kills two near Ukraine border
Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian missiles hit Poland yesterday in what he called a “significant escalation” of the conflict as dozens of airstrikes caused more destruction across Ukraine. Western officials were investigating explosions at a grain store in Przewodow, Lublin, in the southeast of the Nato country, in which two people died. The Pentagon said that it had no information to confirm reports of Russian involvement.
