Take it or leave it, Sunak tells DUP, I won't change me Brexit deal
… As top Tories tell Boris: 'Put up or shut up'
Rishi Sunak is not prepared to make changes to his landmark Brexit deal, as he stares down critics in the DUP and on his own backbenches. Northern Ireland’s largest unionist party has claimed the agreement may need “reworking”. But a spokesperson for Mr Sunak said the government believed it had secured “the right deal for all parties in Northern Ireland”. One senior Tory MP said Boris Johnson should either “put up or shut up” as the former PM is said to be considering whether to rebel. Meanwhile, the prime minister is awaiting the verdict of the DUP, which has said it will study the proposals in detail.
