Paris Hilton: I was pressured to make sex tape

Paris Hilton has revealed details about a private sex tape she made with ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon in her forthcoming book. In Paris: The Memoir, the hotel heir claimed that she was pressured into making the videotape despite her “making excuses” not to because she “felt weird and uncomfortable about it”.

Hilton, 42, previously opened up about the “humiliating” experience and said she experienced post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the tape being leaked to the internet. In an

extract of her book published in The Times on Saturday Hilton said she was 18 years old when she began dating a “coarse” and “arrogant” man.

Although she does not name him in the extract, Salomon released the video shortly after The Simple Life, starring Hilton and Nicole Richie, debuted in 2004. She later released a statement saying she did not approve of its public release and that she was “out of it” during the taping of the video.

Train derails in Ohio a month after crash

About 20 cars from a Norfolk Southern cargo train derailed in Ohio on Saturday, one month after the disastrous East Palestine derailment. Hazmat crews and emergency services responded after the 212-car freight train came off tracks near the Clark County Fairgrounds in Springfield at about 5pm.

Residents within 1,000ft of the derailment were asked to shelter in place at 7pm “out of an abundance of caution”, the Clark County Emergency Management Agency said in a statement posted to its Facebook page. More than 1,500 residents were without power on Saturday night.

Ohio governor Mike DeWine said in a statement that he didn’t believe any hazardous materials were onboard the train, and that officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and crash investigators were on site.

Man arrested for urinating on passenger during flight

A US college student was arrested for allegedly urinating on a business class passenger and being abusive towards cabin crew on an American Airlines flight from New York to Delhi, according to reports.

Aryan Vohra, a 21-year-old Indian national, was met by police when flight AA 292 from JFK landed at Indira Gandhi International airport early on Saturday evening local time, officials told the ANI news agency. In a statement, American

Airlines told ANI that Mr Vohra was “heavily intoxicated” and ignoring the crew’s instructions.

“He was repeatedly arguing with the operating crew, was not willing to be seated, and continuously endangering the safety of the crew and aircraft and after disturbing the safety of fellow passengers finally urinated on [a passenger] in 15g,” the airline told the news site.

House where child beauty queen died on sale for $7m

The sprawling Colorado home where child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in 1996 is on sale for nearly $7m (£5.8m).

The Boulder mansion became the centre of conspiracy theories when six-year-old JonBenet was found dead in a windowless utility room several hours after her mother Patsy called 911 to report her daughter missing. No charges were ever filed in the death, which has been the subject of numerous TV documentaries.

The listing for the house does not mention JonBenet’s death. The home, originally purchased for $500,000 in 1991, is now owned by Tim and Carol Milner. Ms Milner is the daughter of Hour of Power televangelist Robert Schuler.
