“Big and bold de­signs are no longer as daunt­ing as they once were,” says Lee Clarke, MD of fab­ric com­pany Clarke & Clarke, which has gone all out this sea­son with colour and pat­tern. “Times have moved on, and peo­ple are get­ting more ad­ven­tur­ous.”

While Clarke & Clarke’s Lom­bok and Bukhara col­lec­tions are merely bright and bold, Dawn Rose’s are pos­i­tively eye-pop­ping. Her Ragged Rose fab­rics and prints have been de­scribed as “chintz on acid” — and over­lay­ing her neon pink throws with neon pink ap­pliquéd cush­ions will make a state­ment your guests are un­likely to for­get.
