Warner eyes German test

-

Adam Warner boosted his preparations for next month’s German Open Water Championships with a fine performance at Alton Park, Suffolk.

Warner finished ninth in the one mile elite race and fourth in the five kilometre event.

“Conditions were quite tough with the temperature being 13.5 degrees,” said the 22-year-old Harrow swimmer.

“Racing against elite sportsmen was good fun and I managed to swim faster and nearer to them compared to when I swam in the Elite race in 2009.”
